Textbooks

One of my goals has been to help shape the way we teach post-cold war Europe. I use the word ‘help’ as modestly as possible. There are many great scholars who are doing much more than I am to achieve the same agenda. That said, I have been fortunate to work with a large number of excellent colleagues to develop two sets of edited textbooks — one that is part of the ‘Developments in . . .’ series that was originally with Palgrave and now is with Bloomsbury Academic, another that is part of the ‘Europe Today . . .’ series at Rowman & Littlefield. I am very grateful to Steven Kennedy at Palgrave and Susan McEachern at Rowman & Littlefield for giving me those opportunities. I am also grateful to my co-editors and contributors for delivering such outstanding work. Although these are successive editions of the same title, the content is very different from one volume to the next and across the two series. The links in the titles of the individual volumes point to their Amazon pages in the US. The links to the publishers are in this paragraph. The editions are listed in reverse chronological order.
